This Privacy Policy explains how Northtarn Studio ("Northtarn", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit northtarn.com, follow our AI characters on social media, join our email list or buy our digital products. Northtarn Studio is operated from Brazil and serves customers worldwide, including in the United States.

1. Information we collect

• Information you give us: your name and email address when you join our list or download a free resource, and anything you include when you write to us.
• Purchase information: when you buy a product, our checkout provider processes your name, email, billing country and payment details. We receive order details (what you bought, when, and your email), but we never see or store your full card number.
• Social media interactions: if you comment on or message one of our characters (for example, to request a free resource), we see your public username and the content of that message, under that platform's own privacy policy.
• Technical information: our hosting and font providers may log basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, for security and delivery. This website currently does not use advertising or tracking cookies.

2. How we use it

• To deliver what you asked for: free resources, products, receipts and support.
• To send our email newsletter, only if you subscribed. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
• To answer your messages and reply to comments.
• To keep our services secure, prevent fraud and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
• To understand, in aggregate, which content and products are useful, so we can improve them.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

3. Service providers

We use trusted providers to run the business. They process data on our behalf and only as needed to provide their service. Depending on what you do, these may include:

• Website hosting and security (Cloudflare) and web fonts (Google Fonts).
• Email newsletter delivery (for example, Kit).
• Digital product checkout and payments (for example, Payhip, PayPal or Hotmart).
• Social media platforms and direct-message automation tools used to send resources you request.

Some of these providers are located in the United States or other countries. When your data is transferred internationally, we rely on the provider's contractual and security safeguards.

4. How long we keep it

We keep your email address while you are subscribed and delete or anonymize it after you unsubscribe, unless we need part of it to honor that request. Purchase records are kept for as long as tax and accounting laws require (generally up to five years).

5. Your rights and choices

Wherever you live, you can ask us to access, correct, delete or provide a copy of your personal information, and you can unsubscribe from emails at any time. Depending on your location, you may also have specific rights:

• United States residents (including California and other states with privacy laws): the right to know what we collect, to delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those laws define it. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
• Residents of the EU, UK and Brazil (LGPD): the rights above plus the right to object to or restrict processing and to withdraw consent. Our legal bases are your consent (newsletter), performing a contract (purchases) and our legitimate interests (security and service improvement).

6. Children

Our content and products are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 where local law requires). If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

7. Security

We use reputable providers, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limited access to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you if the law requires it.

8. About our AI characters

Our characters, including Silas Vale, are fictional and AI-generated. When you message a character, you are communicating with Northtarn Studio. Some replies may be automated. We do not use your messages to train AI models.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we will notify subscribers by email.
